'Braeburn Hillwell' Apple Tree
- Thought 'Braeburn' couldn't be improved on? Hold my apple juice... Meet 'Braeburn Hillwell', basically it's Braeburn 2.0. A sport (mutation) of 'Braeburn' with improved red colour.
- The result is a perfectly-sized, crisp-red, eating apple with wonderful aromatic flavour which grows on a compact, low-maintenance tree that grows well in most soils, preferring a sunny, sheltered spot.
- Harvest your apples from October to early November. 'Braeburn Hillwell' is an excellent keeper that can be stored right through to March.
- Self-fertile in nature, this tree produces good crops even with no other trees nearby. Certified with RHS Plants for Pollinators status, 'Braeburn Hillwell' appeals to bees and other pollinating insects.
- M26 Rootstock - Max size H3m x W3m
- MM106 Rootstock - Max size H4m x W4m
- Our potted trees are supplied in EcoPotsâą.
- Our trees are usually between 18 and 36 months old at the time of dispatch.
- Our trees are professionally pruned before dispatching.
- Our mature trees are grown in Air-PotsÂź, the only type of pot to completely eliminate root circling. A unique design stimulates air pruning for a mass of healthy fibrous roots, which results in a healthy tree that will establish quickly in your garden. With each Air-PotÂź made to last up to 20 years, we reuse them on the nursery and wrap your mature tree in hessian for delivery - but if youâd rather keep your tree potted, simply add an Air-PotÂź to your basket along with your tree.
